Pada

The zodiac, which is divided into 12 signs or rasis, is said to have 27 well known constellation of stars.

For purposes of finer calculations, each star location is further divided into 4 parts, each of which is known as a pada. This implies that a pada is 108th part of the zodiac.

This corresponds to a navamsa.
